The latest promotional video showcasing the various services of Chartered Building Surveyor James Barron has gone live.

Barron Surveying’s Project Management Services are featured in the new film, which can be found at www.barronsurveying.co.uk/project-management-services

An historic Grade ll listed building in the heart of the Devon countryside helps James explain the full scope of his services, against a delightful rural backdrop.

He is currently project managing the full restoration and refurbishment of the cottage, which has to be handled sensitively, given the building’s historical significance.

“As I say in our new film, the best way to showcase how our project management services work is to see a current project in action – and this cottage restoration is a great example, said James.

“Viewers will see just how much work has to be done at the site and what is involved in coordinating the many contractors who play a role in a scheme of this kind.

“It is a challenge juggling the various requirements, as well as keeping a project on track and to budget, but it is challenge we really relish here at Barron Surveying.”

During August, the company will be promoting the video on its social media feeds to raise awareness of what its project management services entail.

The services are primarily focused on renovation and restoration and are aimed at both commercial and residential customers. James and his team handle every part of the process, from project specification, to overseeing the tender process and dealing with on-site matters.

James also uses his expertise to sort out the statutory compliance associated with these kinds of projects, such as planning permission and building regulations.

“It’s about making sure we have everything covered, right down to the last detail. In project management, you can’t leave anything to chance,” said James.

“To be honest, that’s the aspect I really enjoy, plus it’s nice to take a break from building surveying work too. As much as I enjoy it, there is something special about helping to realise a client’s ambition.
